For me, peanut butter is that thing. It’s a good for you fat (pending the brand -> check those ingredients!) but also high in calories!
Before I learned about proper portions and having balanced nutrition I would eat peanut butter by the spoonful throughout the day.
I just ate healthy foods. I knew peanut butter was a good source of protein and a healthy fat, I just didn’t know how much to have….and what to eat the rest of the day.

Now I count food groups and read labels. I focus on eating Whole Foods most without completely cutting out any food.
That’s realistic and sustainable. That’s how you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
